Spider Sense

[Mad Kane proposes we write a limerick and/or haiku about a crazy relative, and though my sister is not crazy, there is this one thing... ]

Spider Sense

Of my sister I will be sincere.
She has one, and just one, little fear.
Her path veers much wider
when she sees a spider.
Yes, she wishes they'd all disappear!

This was great! Very funny.

I don't like spiders either but grew up in a house full of them!

Lol :-)

Sometimes get spiders here, creeping in through the letterbox. They get evicted by means of empty cardboard Hobnob biscuit tins.

Of course, the cardboard Hobnob biscuit tin has to be emptied before being used as a spider trap :-) :-) :-)

Hello, tommie.

Thanks Mrs. Brownstone.

Hi, Sleepypete. I think emptying tins ahead of time (just to be prepared) would be a good idea too!

Oh, funny! In a pinch, hairspray will slow the critters down.

My mother believed that spiders only came to clean houses and that one should feel honored to see one.

Me? I'm like Ron Weasley around them.....

Hi, Sue. I had never heard that. I'll have to let her know, but I'm pretty sure that she has no desire to be close enough to hit them with the spray!

Hello, Maria. Thanks for the laugh!

Ahh, now that is clever! I need to find a limerick book and share the fun with my 6 year old. I can remember getting a kick out of them as a child, and I think he would too.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. :)
