Traffic Haiku

I put this together in my head while I was on the way to work this morning. No, I did not write it down while the car was moving.

Traffic Haiku

I can only go
as fast as the car in front;
honk at someone else.

Found your link on Michele's and decided to follow it home. How glad I am: your poetry is delightfully thought-provoking.

I grew up in Montreal, so traffic always dominated our daily agenda. This haiku is so on the money.

I look forward to reading more!

Thanks, Carmi. You're welcome any time. Only once did I have to sit in rush-hour traffic just outside Montreal and I can say it rivals that of my area!
